LOWER DIR: Senior leader of Pakistan People Party and former Information Minister, Qamar Zaman Kaira yesterday said that his party would abide by the norms of democracy and would play role of a strong opposition in assemblies.
Talking to media persons here Sunday, he said that PPP had never involved in politics of protest and always adopted a more amiable way to pursue political objectives.
He said that PPP would perform role of a strong opposition in parliament. He said that when certain political parties decided not to attend oath taking ceremony it was PPP that opposed the idea.
He said that we did not supported Shahbaz Sharif due to its behavior towards PPP in past. He said that leadership of PTI should focus the problems of people and devise a plan for their resolution adding it is the only way through which relief can be provided to a common man.
