KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail yesterday said people of the country have utmost trust in the vision and mission of Prime Minister lmran Khan. Talking to Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce, Textile, Industrial Production and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood who called on him, the Governor said that the Prime Minister has chosen the best possible economic team to steer the economy towards a prosperous destination. “His (Imran Khan’s) Naya Pakistan is a dream which would be realized with the support of the masses,” the Governor said. He said that the Prime Minister has taken the challenge of the revival of the economy knowing the bottlenecks in this regard. The Governor said that setting up of special industrial zones on the route of CPEC would revolutionize various industries besides creation of thousands of jobs. Karachi being the economic hub of the country is being specially focused by the federal government, he said, adding that the Prime Minister is taking personal interest in the resolution of the issues of the city. Adviser to PM Abdul Razzak Dawood said that measures are being taken to boost exports and lessen imports in various sectors. To accelerate industrial productivity, infrastructure facilities are being improved, specially in and around industrial areas. The meeting discussed in detail the measures needed for revival of economy, increase in exports and other mutual interest topics.
