LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has claimed that every company in Punjab was a big scandal.

So far only two cases have been opened and the Sharif family has started making hue and cry, the minister said and added that more scams will come to the fore in the coming days.

Talking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly, Abdul Aleem Khan said that from solid waste management to Orange Line train, national exchequer has been plundered in the name of mega projects.

If he had grabbed any land, why no FIR had been registered against him, he asked.

He challenged Hamza Shehbaz to bring any case against him in this regard or show to the media the land earlier was being blamed for.

Abdul Aleem Khan said that such tactics could not hoodwink masses and everyone would have to be answerable for what had been done in the past.

The senior minister said that the past government had bankrupted the Punjab province and there was no money to give subsidy or run the development projects, while cheques amounting to Rs 80 billion had already been bounced.

To a question, Abdul Aleem Khan said that the opposition could not continue protest even for half an hour as it was not so easy to hold protest demonstrations. Recalling the PTI’s 126 days long protest, he challenged the PML-N to stage a protest demonstration only for 126 hours and the PTI government would provide all facilities to the protesters.
