QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Chiltan Rifles organised a day-long free medical camp and treated more than 1,678 patients suffering from various diseases here at Sariab area of the provincial capital.
An FC spokesperson yesterday said the camp was arranged on the special directives of Inspector General Balochistan Frontier Corps, Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, where the FC doctors along with the paramedics’ staff examined the patients
At least 1,678 patients including 460 male, 542 women and 678 children were examined and given medicines free of cost besides performing diagnostic tests. Ultra sound, lab tests and other facilities were provided in the camp keeping in mind the needs of remote people. The rations were also distributed among needy people in the camp. Sector Commander Quetta, Brigadier Tasawar Sattar and a member of provincial assembly (MPA) Malik Naseer Shahwani visited the camp.
Locals of the area appreciated FC Balochistan for serving humanity and providing free medical assistance to poor citizens.
