LCCI launches Employment Portal for youth, business community

LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in collaboration with launched ‘LCCI Employment Portal’ here yesterday and become first chamber of the country to take such an initiative to help government bring down graph of unemployment.

LCCI President Almas Hyder inaugurated the portal along with Chairman and CEO of Mohsin Rehman, while LCCI Vice President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigal also spoke on the occasion.

LCCI President Almas Hyder said that finding human capital remains one of the most important challnges for businesses. LCCI Employment Portal is equipped with latest filters options, would greatly help the LCCI members to fill their vacant job positions without spending money on job ads and wasting a lot of time in screening or short-listing relevant job applications, besides allowing create accounts, post jobs, search desired candidates and mark hires through the platform. It is also a giant leap towards providing job opportunities to the youth.

He said that is a famous website of jobs seeking and has developed LCCI Employment Exchange portal which can be utilized by all the members of Lahore Chamber totally free of charge.

On the occasion, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The LCCI President Almas Hyder and Chairman & CEO of Mosin Rehman inked the document.

According to the MOU, the LCCI will be controlling the portal through administrative features and by accessing reports to understand and manage the programme. will manage day to day technical operations of the portal to ensure smooth running of the exchange. will invest in development costs to build the LCCI employment exchange for LCCI and bear the expenses of hosting, servers, bandwidth and maintenance. The LCCI and its members will receive these services on a free-of-cost basis.
