Policemen among 5 injured in blast in NW Pakistan

PESHAWAR: A blast hit Pakistan’s northwest city Peshawar yesterday, leaving at least five people injured including two policemen, a police official said.

The explosion occurred at a business center in the Rampura Gate area of Peshawar, the provincial capital of northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Additional Inspector General of Police Shafqat Malik told media, adding that two traffic police officers sustained injuries in the bomb blast. —Agencies
