Sindh govt’s third COVID-19 QPCR Lab starts functioning in Larkana


LARKANA: Third COVID-19 QPCR Laboratory started functioning at the Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Larkana yesterday. This was disclosed by Dr Syed Ershad Hussain Kazmi, Medical Superintendent (MS), while talking to this scribe. He said that 48 samples had been received at the very outset which were under analysis. He said health workers were busy in testing the samples results of which would be submitted to the concerned quarters.

It must be mentioned here that two previous such labs were already working in government-run hospitals in Hyderabad an Karachi whereas Larkana is the third city where such facility has been provided by the provincial government. —Agencies
